About Us
Our organisation’s journey began in 2012, spearheaded by a group of process management enthusiasts, leading to the establishment of our initially named association, ABPMP Benelux. Working closely with ABPMP International, our American counterpart, we thrived in an environment that fostered the sharing of ideas and innovation. After a period of quiet, highlighted by significant projects in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, we intensified our efforts to offer training and certifications in Business Process Management.
In January 2023, we embarked on a new phase by adopting the name EBPMA, standing for European Business Process Management Association, reflecting our broader European reach and goals. Our dedication to certifying professionals in BPM and BPMN has grown over time, with hundreds demonstrating their expertise through our programs.
This website is designed to assist our certified members in their ongoing quest for BPM knowledge and to facilitate the verification of their certifications. It features a Learning Management System (LMS), a blog, additional training courses and a wiki, thereby enhancing our members’ experience and supporting their professional growth

Thierry Lesage
With a Master’s degree in Advanced IT Management from the University of Wales, Cardiff, Thierry Lesage is a maestro in weaving his extensive account management experience with his passion for Business Process Management (BPM).
That passion led Thierry to receive a certification in Business Process Management at Amelior (Kortrijk (BE)), from where he moved into teaching BPM and Lean Management to administrations and banks. Most recently, Thierry was appointed as Process Manager in the HR Directorate at the EIB in Luxembourg.

Geert Bral
A man of diverse talents, Geert Bral brings a unique blend of IT expertise and artistic flair to EBPMA. With a Bachelor’s in IT complemented by his skills in photography, Geert’s 30-year tenure at the Belgian Railroad Company (NMBS) laid a strong foundation for his current role.
Now, as VP of Finance and Webmaster, he dedicates his time to EBPMA, contributing his wealth of experience with a benevolent spirit.

Laurence Banbuck
A SKEMA alumna with a degree in Business Process Management, Laurence’s career has given her experience on the international level at major institutions, including the European Investment Bank, Danone and CACIB.
Currently a consultant at CGI, Laurence specializes in optimizing business processes and is an aficionado of the DynamicProcess360 solution. Her expertise in tackling complex challenges makes her an invaluable asset to the BPM community.
